Moments Unforgettable is..

 a non-profit organization dedicated to reaching and impacting communities and generations through the Performing Arts.  Our vision is two-fold, having an Entertainment Agency that works in partnership with our Performing Arts Academy.  The Agency services special events and creates original productions.  The Academy currently offers a variety of Dance classes, and will expand soon to include departments such as Music, Acting, Arts, and Technology. Moments Unforgettable is committed to a high standard of excellence and integrity, with dedicated staff who are passionate about making a difference in our world.

This amazing group has been working nonstop to put together an incredible dance number that will inspire you.  They will also be featuring a few of their students for an acoustic compilation and spoken word.

Crazy Horse is a collective of musicians devoted to getting folks shaking and moving through percussion-driven music – music in which all kinds of drums and hand instruments are given full rein to gallop along new and creative paths rather than being relegated to the backwoods of accompaniment. 

 The composition of Crazy Horse is fluid, being adjusted to fit the needs of the event, whether playing at a dance club, spicing up a DJ performance, or entertaining at a private party.  The two constants in the lineup are Bruddah Red, the musical creativity director with decades of experience leading classic rock bands with showmanship on drum kits and timbales, and Dave L, who has learned how to play djembes and congas from master teachers in Hawaii.  Coupled with a handful of other great drummer Crazy Horse drum crew with surly get you off your feet and groovin to the beat

Jerome James is a Hawaiian born multi percussionist and producer of musical and performance creations.  For this May First Fridays event at Ong King he will be showcasing a musical performance piece based on life’s purpose.

Richie Lucero was born and raised in Hawaii, with an undying passion for the arts.  He is almost completely self taught and can work in any style in almost any medium. With the belief that art must constantly evolve he continues to explore new approaches in application and theory. Today you can find him working hard in the art studio with no signs of slowing down anytime soon.  Come check out his latest work on First Friday. Our gallery opens at 5pm!

Micah Perry grew up in a small town by the bayou in Mississippi and was influenced by a long line of artists in his family. He was intrigued by tribal pacific cultures at a young age and pursued tattooing as a career and Hawaii as a home.
“My art reflects my inspirations in Polynesian, Roman, art nouveou, and Elizabethan influences.
I work as a full time artist at Blackcat studios also doing murals and custom paintings.”

TTYM is a r&b fusion band hailing from the island of Oahu. Their catchy melodies, smooth vocals, ever danceable rhythms will keep any party going. TTYM has been featured on KHON-2 show “Entertain Me”, Star 101.9 show “Made In Hawaii”, and has made several appearances at local venues like Lulus, jazzminds, the Loft, Ong Kings, Hard Rock Cafe, Mai Tais, Tropics, d&Bs, etc. Check out TTYM’s original music at http://www.myspace.com/ttymmusic.

Be ready to get you dance on!

The power of music is undeniable -fusing persons of all cultures, ethnicities, races, & genders. Its hard to separate oneself from the feeling that it brings and from the first free style session overlooking the city of Honolulu, the sacred language spoke and Andy Jenkins came to be.
Respectively known as Jazz & Sno, the two joined forces through what some would call a string of synchronistic events. What began as rapping evolved into singing & rapping,  & soon followed acoustic, as well as a deeper understanding of the true nature of the collaboration.
Cultivating their skills from opposite sides of the country for most of their lives, ascending from Maryland, Sno evolved & harvested a love for music from legends of all genres, such as Phil Collins, Michael Franks, Sting, Nas, Eminem, Lauren Hill, & Alicia Keys. Representing LA, Jazz developed an early love for percussion which only broadened the thirst for sound, paving the way to melody. Majority of the artist that have affected her music reign from hip hop dynasties and smirk in the shadowy haze of blues and jazz clubs. With both naturally poetic lyricists and passionate musicians wanting to ignite and unite, the bond came supernatural.
Today, the duo looks forward to bringing people a fresh look and sound that uniquely resembles the roots from which we came.

 Blake Miller is a multi-media artist and musician based in the San Francisco Bay Area, but currently living and working on Oahu. His work explores, and exploits the potential of form. Blake manipulates and exsperiments with medium and found-objects like paper, glass, and organic material. Exsploring new ways to look at a world of “objects” and offering a wide array of concepts, that address the body, morphology, enviroments (life) and perception. While deriving beauty from unlikely sources and providing a provoking and sometimes kaleidoscopic aesthetic , Millers work Reminds that, underlying any exspression of life there is a mysterious organic processes.

Christopher Miller. painter, photographer. An abstract conceptual artist, known for his use of color and light. Creating dream influenced art and ambient visual landscapes to externalizing his inner spiritual experience. His work reflects this dynamic journey from conception to canvas. The most recent expressions, having been in transition from, “Angels In The Desert” (a series currently in California.) to newer works exploring a kind of personal oasis.
